Mike earned a BA in Business with a concentration in Finance from California State University – Fullerton in 1983. At Babcock, Inc. an aerospace company he held titles of General Manager, Vice President, and CFO. Babcock was later acquired by Microsemi Corporation, a publicly traded company on NASDAQ, where Mike continued to work as a Division Controller.
Mike’s prior experience as CFO and then Controller gives him the expertise to be proficient in deal analysis. His financial skills allow him to accurately and thoroughly evaluate potential property investments.
Mike has extensively studied under some of the best in the real estate industry. His training background ranges from recognizing emerging markets, syndication, and advanced techniques such as short sales, owner finance, lease options, master leasing, wraps, subject to, and assumptions. Mike currently focuses on investing in multi-family commercial property, from 20-150+ unit properties.
Mike and his wife Susan have four children and three grandchildren. They reside in Huntington Beach, CA where they formed Dixon Investments, LLC, in 2013. He holds the title of President and CEO. Mike is a member of the AOA (Apartment Owners Association) and is a graduate of specialized training programs.

DILLC specializes in value-add opportunities such as upgrades to the properties that will increase rent and the overall value of the property.
